Mission
YSIN (Your Suite In Nature) a Dutch start-up company created in 2008 sought to develop a new and unprecedented camping experience. Together with Yellow Window they were able to materialise this ambition and develop the concept further into an innovative and radically new product ā the Opera. In the design
Yellow Window focused on the feelings of freedom as well as comfort and luxury. The experience of
the consumer was crucial to the concept of the product ā the goal of Opera was to inspire even the homeliest
people to experience the joys of luxury camping.

2008 - 2010
Result
The result of the project was unique: Opera is neither a tent, nor a trailer, nor a camping car. It offers a unique sensation of liberty and style in the midst of nature ā refinement and luxury under a canvas that can be compared only to a luxury hotel.

Upon unfolding the structure, a space of 7 by 3 meters is created. The space is equipped with climate control, a bed easily switched between twins or double, ceramic sanitary ware and an external shower. To further expand the comfort of the user Opera is equipped with a compact kitchen, a barbecue and a teak veranda. The quality of materials and attention to every detail give Opera a luxurious aspect without any ostentation.

The Opera was launched in December 2009 at the Design at Work trade fair in Belgium. Due to its online presence, among other things, it was able to attract an explosive number of visitors.
