It is just like any other day in universitywhere I start bright and early in the morning, walking out of the trainstation at 7.30am to my 8.30am classlike a zombie. Went into the lab and sat at the usual spot in the computer lab and started working on my assignment. As I was clicking away with my mouse, the door suddenly opens, one of my classmate walks in. It’s her. The girl I have been battling in my mind forweeks and insist that she is from the same country as me, Malaysia.Curiosity mounting, a battle onceagain erupted in my mind, pushing me to just asked her and end the battle.“Hi”. I did it. I said something. In fact, a little too loud. She jumped a little. But she replied, giving me a shy “hi”. Ignoring the awkward silence, I asked her whether she is from Malaysia. She immediately brightens up and gave me a big “YES”. I am so relieved. We started talking, just like old friends, adding in our own language (Malay) to the english that we were speaking. At the end of the day, my now new friend said to me, “I will never forget the this day we met.”
Final work:
Thank you!
