36 Days of Type
36days is a yearly open call inviting designers, illustrators and visual artists to share their view on the letters and numbers from our alphabet. I decided to join this challenge and share my first alphabet ever.
Here's my first collection for #36DaysOfType
E | These objects are my Essentials. I like to keep them close and within reach!
I | I really love interiors! I change mine a lot :)
M | My milkshake brings all the fonts to the yard!
R | R is for Rotterdam. My city. My home. I drew two of it's icons: the Erasmus Bridge in the front and the Euromast in the back - with a little sun to complete the R and the whole picture.
S | This cute little dog is 'Saartje' the dachshund of my parents. She can't stop wagging!
X | I'm a huge fan of the X-men! Ever since the TV-series (in the early 90's) I've wanted to 'move things with my mind'... And today I did, with this 'X' - which looks a bit like the font of the logo in the TV-series.
5 | I decided to add cars to this beautiful shaped road, just for this sum up
(it's not on the original one because I wanted to stay loyal to the color palette)

7 | I have this thing with banana's. I got socks with a banana-pattern, I would love the banana-lamp by Studio Job and like to add them as ingredient :)
