This week, I'm going to try to work on album art, and see what I can come up with, since I think I'm a bit bored from the metal fonts. I will show my progress with the album art I'm going to create this week. I'm basing my album art from Dan Hammonds' album art tutorial.

I first started off with a background from Splitshire. I then added a sun from Alexas_Fotos, and cropped it in.

I wanted to do something weird so I inverted it

I got rid of the clouds with the spot healing tool and I cropped it to a 1:1 ratio. 

I then added Hue to blend with the layer.

Here is the final project, I thought it turned out somewhat decent.

Here I'm using Tatiana's pic and I cropped it to place I liked at a 1:1 ratio.

Then I inverted it again, because I was really curious how fog would look if it was inverted.

I then added an eye fromon of Seth Showalter's pictures, erased most of it, then I added a black and white filter.

I then added inverted lightning in the background from one of Martinus' pictures and I erased it in.

Then with the magic wand, I was able to select part of the lighting of the lightning that I didn't need, and I deleted it which gave a cool outline to the lightning.

I think these pieces came out okay. The first one seems a bit vaporwave-y, but the second one seems a bit metal. I kind of like making these types of designs, since it kind of tests your creativity.
