I really don't know what to do this week...

Today's daily quest gave me a sort of spark to create something about rebellion, so I made a little illustration of a typical rebellious logo.

Then I took the idea of Earth being a rebel and I made it into a design. Now that I look at it, it kind of reminds me of the disaster known as the St. Anger album by Metallica. It kind of makes me cringe a little since it didn't turn out the way I wanted it to. The background is from imagesthai.

Here, I'm trying out a new technique for death metal logos. I have learned this from Shaun Horlock. This way of making death metal logos, gives the design a more sludgier look. This kind of design kind of gives off a hardcore vibe or even a deathcore feel. I will now give a tutorial on how to execute this look.

First, open Photoshop and type in your logo boldly. Then, left click on the layer and click on Rasterize type.

Use the eraser tool so you can determine how you want your design to turn out.

Edit>warp, move it around and mess with it until you get what you want.

I have failed to complete this tutorial, so I'm going to attempt to complete it on the next DPE. It took me a while to figure this sort of style out, since it was a bit confusing for me at first. I will resume where I left off on the next DPE.
