WEEK 32 DPE
Here I finally finished the Deathcore logo edit. I used the background from Goumbik's profile, and the texture from Pixabay. I found this was a bit more better than my thrash metal logo edit. I think that the texture and background should have no similar colors, but they should remain at the dark part of the spectrum of color.
Here I used the same background from Goumbik. However I did change the texture from PellissierJP's profile. The logo is from the band that I drum for, Cryptic. I found that using textures with sharp edges were more visually appealing than the last concrete texture I used that had round bumps.
Here, I created a new gravatar because my old profile pic was a dead meme that died as quick as it came.
Next I will show you how to put shadows around the logo to make the piece pop out more, thanks to Walter Eikrem.
Double-click on the layer with the actual logo, not the mask, or else it won't work.
Click on Drop Shadow and tweak with the options and see what works out best for you since each image is different and everything will vary for you, setting-wise.
(Settings I used for the final project)
Using these kinds of tweaks on logos will make everything look professional and the three-dimensional look will certainly make your design pop.
Here, I put a Black & White adjustment and clipped an art mask.
Here, I did the same as the last design.
In this design, I did the same as the last, but I had to fiddle with the opacity of the Black & White adjustment layers to give the image a more chilling look.
