Janua Oy / Brand identity and website

DESIGN BRIEF
"We would need to create a look for our new company, a logo, business cards and a simple website."

"Janua is Latin, and it means "door". The idea is to look for door manufacturing materials and components from Finland, Europe and other parts of the world and sell them forward to Finnish businesses on the door-, wood- and maybe other industries as well."

"On the style: you know us (having worked with the customer before), so it should look like us. But, because this is a b2b business, it should be a bit more professional and plain. And everything needs to be in English, since we are working on an international market."
THE LOGO
Keeping with the origin of the word janua, I wanted to capture the essence of classical sculptures (with their curly hair and draped clothes) that I link to Latin and combine it with simple and scandinavian taste in the logo. I started sketching ideas and ended up bringing together the ideas in the shape of a logomark and a logotype.
THE WEBSITE ( responsive ) & BUSINESS CARDS
The main function for the website is to serve as a digital business card so that people can find basic information about the company or to contact them directly through the website.

The single page site was build with Wix website builder.
