Story about the ART:  

This piece takes as a starting point the Surprise Boxes, those that when moving the crank comes a doll driven by a spring that surprises and awakens children's laughter.

But this surprise box holds a reality in which many children live whose countries are at war.

Four children's drawings adorn this box, and tell a story, talk about war, flight, glimpse of hope, fall into abandonment.

But a child does not stop dreaming, and the threads that bind him to reality let them fly so he can continue playing.

Our child is a puppet of war.

This Art Toy belongs to the series we have called "RIGHTS IN CRISIS" (“CRISIS DE DERECHOS” in spanish). It is the seventh and last work that belongs to this Series that we have made expressly for this Exhibition.

Technique:  Figure with Kidrobot customized head, molded with polymer clay, box made of wood. Hand painted with acrylics.
