FORGOTTEN ART TOYS I
This Art Toy belongs to the series we have called "RIGHTS IN CRISIS" (“CRISIS DE DERECHOS” in spanish). It is the sixth artwork that belongs to this Series that was made expressly for exhibition TOY MAKERS OF THE PLANET EARTH 2017
Story: A little girl plays swinging on a toy horse, a little horse that is really a tank symbol of destruction and death.
It's a girl swinging in a world torn apart by adults. She does not understand anything, she just wants to play...
This piece is an attempt not to forget all those children, innocent looks that try to remain children among debris of bombed cities, within refugee camps, and this in the face of the indifference of those who should care for them: adults.
The girl is represented by Mageritdoll, a character who is part of the imaginary by Art Toy Maison.
Technique : Mageritdoll is made of resin. The tank part has been made of wood and recycled objects, and on it have been painted scenes of war, remembering children's drawings.
