This was a relatively quick portrait for me. From sketch to finish, it took less than a day. I've never painted like this before, so trying out a new technique was awesome! I always have fun painting characters... Phil Dunphy from Modern Family is one of my favorites.
The process: sketch, line drawing transfer onto canvas, underpainting, and applying the paint.
