OJE (Olimpíada de Jogos e Educação)
Game Design | Casual Game | GBL | Educational
OJE is the acronym for Olimpíada de Jogos e Educação (or Games and Education Olympics). The whole project happens in some states in Brazil, like Pernambuco, Rio de Janeiro and Acre, and involves the utilization of Gamification Processes and Games directly in education, for students from public schools.

OJE is made by a lot of games and challenges. Throghout the years the Olympics has been a powerfull tool to improve the students' interest on the subjects at school, through the use of Gamification concepts,

While Game Designer, I worked basically on the whole platform, highlighting three games described below. I worked in all steps of game development, creating concepts, documentation, commercial strategy, storyboarding, gameflows and interaction design.

Below, some of my favourite games:
Tony Jones
History | Geography | Physics | Math
In Tony Jones, the player must help Tony to recover the lost artifacts and return them to the museums. Each collected artifact earns some points, and their combination earns some extra points and achievements. It is possible to buy upgrades beetween stages to help the player to proceed.
Chuteira Premiada
Geography | Social Studies | Physics
On Chuteira Premiada (Awarded Kicks) the player must click on the ball and drag to define strength and direction of the kick. The bigger the arrow, the stronger the shoot. It's important to be aware about the wind's power and direction, so it wont confuse your shoot.
Super Susto
Anti-Drug Conscience | Anti-Bullying Concience
Based on the classic Elevator Action, on Super Susto (Super Scary), the user must help the hero through his haunted school. The player needs to find all the Belladona Cushions (monster drug) and destroy them. Also, he needs to beat the Terrible Gang that keeps bullying other students.
