Evoking the woman's body into natural elements shapes, the Initial B.B. installation translate the song by Serge Gainsbourg into a three-dimensional experience.
CONCEPT
The song from 1968 is an homage to the beauty of Brigitte Bardot. Serge Gainsbourg relates a succession of memories that depict the different parts of Brigitte Bardot's body. Waist, fingers, thigh, hair, wrist. She never appears entirely like she was hiding while Gainsgourg looks for her through his visions. She is literally "a dream creature", too beautiful to be ever reached.

SOLUTION
I decided to represent Gainsbourg's dream like a wood. As we walk through the installation, we can perceive feminine shapes among the stylised leaves and branches. Like an intense memory, the woman's body is close and yet inaccessible, nowhere and everywhere. She is a trick, a trap, an illusion.
