Connellan's Twin Houses

Connellan's Twin Houses is a couple of mews houses located in Dublin, The land originally hosted a single family house.
The owner wanted to split the land into two identical houses, a personal house, and another one for rental as the land and its district hosts some historical elements that increase the value of housing there.
The main target was to design a modern house with as much usage space as possible with the maximum use of daylight.
The house consists of 2 floors and an attic bedroom, a small green court works as a light well for the center of the house which also creates a good view for the spaces with no possibility of having windows like the dining room, the master bedroom and its bathroom.
A green roof crowns the center of the attic roof to maximize the green area in each land.
Space saving and maximum light usage have been used to create that small piece of comfort for a single family.
