El proyecto busca la prolongación del camino existente de acceso mediante la mimetización del museo con el paisaje elevando el camino en su parte final para al llegar ahí, provocar de manera sorpresiva un encuentro visual con el mundo prehispánico.

En el mundo prehispánico, la tierra daba la vida y también lo necesario para crecer y desarrollarse, finalmente recibe en su seno a los hombres en un eterno ciclo. Bajo éste principio el museo toma ese concepto comenzando su recorrido a través de un puente desde el inframundo ubicando cómo primer espacio las salas de exhibición en dónde se muestra su origen para después emerger a la luz mediante una ranura al exterior y mostrar su evolución mediante la visita a los conjuntos arqueológicos para así finalmente volver a la tierra nuevamente a través de un patio hundido que hace alusión a las mismos basamentos piramidales del lugar y posteriormente pasando por la librería y el área de restauración dando fin al recorrido.

 
The project begins with the extension of the existing road access through the mimicry of the museum with the surrounding landscape, raising the last part of the road and giving access to the museum and causing an unexpected visual encounter with the pre-Hispanic world.

In the pre-Hispanic world, earth gave life, gave growth and gave development; it receives men in its interior through an eternal cycle. It is under this principle that the museum takes its concept. The path begins through a bridge that introduces the visitors to the underworld, where permanent and temporary showrooms are placed showing the origin of Peralta’s archeological zone, the path raises into the light through a small corridor that connects to the outside world. The path shows its evolution through the visit of the pyramids of the archaeological site and finally returns again to earth through a sunken courtyard that refers to the same pyramidal bases. The visitor leaves the museum through the bookstore and restoration area after the tour.
