Paws & Rufflect is a self-independent pet service created to train and care for canine friends. The creator of Paws & Rufflect wanted a brand identity to further her business in the competitive pet service marketplace. The client wanted a design that would be easy to identify, easy to spot and easy to replicate for merchandise purposes.
The creator of Paws & Rufflect wanted the brand to be a personal icon of her life. The idea was to somehow incorporate two of her four dogs into the design. That way, it shows the potential customers that she is capable of taking care of anyone's canine friend as if they were her own. The design of the two different breed of dogs merging as one entity is to represent that no matter what size of breed the dog may be, all dogs at Paws & Refflect will be treated as equals. The colour palette of the brand was kept to a minimum to help keep a sophisticated but modern tone of voice to the business. A sans serif typeface was selected for this brand to create an impactful impression in the viewer. To let the viewer know straight away that Paws & Rufflect is a serious business that wants the best for all canine friends.
