Before we promote products to consumers, we need to promote them to store buyers. Publishing is a crowded market with limited shelf space, so it's important to stand out as much as possible--especially when the company releases over 400 products per year.
The best way to achieve top of mind in this arena is through thoughtful design that not only achieves the needs of the sales force, but also marries the needs of the book distributor, the publisher, the authors, and each individual property, at the same time.
Three catalogs are produced concurrently per season (nine per year), each promoting a different product line.
My Role
Securing and editing content from Editorial and Marketing, creating milestones and deadlines to be followed company-wide, overseeing the design process, ensuring buy-off from all necessary parties, and managing the printing and delivery process.
