Pagomo :: Logo Case Study

Pagomo means "on the mountain" in the Chinyanga South African dialect, which meant something special to this Denver-based custom furniture design service. Seeking a stronger logo, they needed a web-friendly mark that would help to fuel the company's growth and to connect them with their audiences. The main market was identified as high-income families and professionals, looking for a natural aesthetic and furniture made specifically for them.
The final mark that was chosen played off the shapes and the overall feeling I found in getting to know Pagomo's body of work. Throughout my style explorations, I focused on the curves and shapes that both united their overall collection and gave each piece its own unique character.

The color palette is made up of a range of inviting colors that were meant to play well together or separately for building out a website and larger brand system in the future. Each color on its own was selected for how well they contrasted with the various types of wood featured in the pieces of furniture throughout the collection.
