Music Player
"Design a music player. Consider the controls, placements, imagery such as the artist or album cover, etc"
» When it comes to listening music I'm pretty old-school. I don't use Spotify or Apple Music but I buy favorite songs at the iTunes store or synchronize my iPhone with my library in which I imported all my cd's. You probably get it: I don't ask for much when it comes to a music player.
The thing I like most is personalizing by color or style.
For this challenge I added a little settings part where you can switch between flat black and white design & 3D (shadows and gradients) and colorful. Both minimal and clean. The 'minimal player' is an idea that came up during the process. Removing the back- and forward buttons and use a swipe function to play the next or previous song.
At the moment I'm hooked on 'Swish Swish' by Katy Perry and lóóóve the album art, so I had to use it for my design! If you swipe up you can see your playlist with songs coming up next.
Funny fact: I sometimes buy the single on purpose to get a different album cover in my library ;)
Btw, is it just me or are the album cover made from the same color swatches?
