My first one day brief, and my first collaboration piece.
Brief :
My partner and I had to research a passion of ours. We then had to combine our research in either solely typographical means or pictorial means, using only black and white, and then to create a book out of it. My partner chose family, while I looked into travelling. We decided to divide our work by colour; my partner used a white background with a black font, while I used a black background with a white font.
We were told to bring in materials beforehand that would relate to a passion of ours; this was all the notice we had. Having been trained to do extensive in-depth research from my Foundation Diploma, this did pose a bit of a challenge, but we succeeded in our aims.
