Wild Tales (Relatos salvajes) is a 2014 Argentine black comedy anthology film composed of six standalone shorts, all written and directed by Damián Szifron, united by a common theme of violence and vengeance.
The idea for the Key Art was to present all the cast in single posters but sharing a limbo like space. Actors were photographed in character and all of them at the brink of breakdown. The idea for the retouch was to present the local audience with a ‘closer to’ hollywood like experience, giving a hint of the production value behind the film.

From early stages of campaign development we wanted to have a “CULT” poster. One that didn’t follow on the film’s guideline, so we had two different ideas. The first one was a typographic poster promoting the actors and the second one played with the idea of getting to the edge. Non of them made it.
Final logo was build from Tungsten by Hoefler & Co. but was re-worked to fit the purpose and general feeling of the film. The rest of the images are just part of the pitching process.
