    In the early 2000's FedEx acquired multitple businesses expanding their company to include nine operating units. Look for packaging and livery had already been established. The challenge was to create a new identity for each of the operating units tying together FedEx standards while giving each some unique elements. The system needed to work globally so that any FedEx unit could recreate the materials accurately. The project included development of materials in various print sizes, a grid system, look and feel, photographic style and extensive online guidelines. This look is still in use today. Expanding their company, FedEx acquired multiple businesses to include nine operating units in total.The challenge was to create a new identity for each of the operating units, giving each some unique elements while maintaining the FedEx brand. The system needed to work globally so that any FedEx office could recreate the materials accurately. Project elements included development of a comprehensive visual system, photographic style and online guidelines. This work was done while at Landor Associates.
 
A 270 page online component of FedEx's intranet, this online guidelines was developed so any office around the world could create marketing materials that all look consistent. This style is still being used.
