Reggae music is what positive feelings sound like. “A tear of hope” poster is dedicated to people suffering from constant emotional & physical pain. A single drop of despair holds within a sweet sunshine reminding us that “Everything’s gonna be alright” as Bob Marley & The Wailers sing it repeatedly in “No woman No cry” titled song.
This poster is also addressed to many saddened yet hopeful faces I’ve met during my long stay in Africa. Our spirit revives from the moment when we embrace our troubles, like the woman in the poster holding a bowl and openly receiving a painful tear of hope that she has long been awaiting.
Personally, Bob Marley & The Wailers’ music pushes me to make peace with the world and myself. The lyrics hold powerful yet simple messages behind. I really hope my message sheds some light on a lot of hopeless people out there, and let them know that “Everything’s gonna be alright” no matter how disappointed and hopeless they feel.
