the Karaoke Microphone was developed by Bluw as part of the Lecci range. The product was a concept suggested by the Bluw design team. The item was a combined Speaker and microphone. The speaker section could be detached from the microphone and plugged in to the headphone socket of an iPod or other music player, allowing the user to sing over their favourite music tracks using the microphone.

The packaging design was created using the existing Lecci style guide, from 2009.

The folded insert format, rather than a double-sided print, was used to help hide the necessary instruction manual and battery safety information.
