I did these back in late 2010 with Deutsch and The Mill(VFX company) went off of my concept illustrations for the mood, palette and lighting for the spot. Back then, the beetle(the one in the spot) wasn't designed yet and it looks a bit different in some of the shots. The direction and look of the beetle slowly evolved during the process of this work to what you see in the last shot and that is closer to the silhouette of the actual car.
