Brief:
Unique and eclectic textile prints make Ted Baker products inimatable; helping to create an unmistakable identity for the brand. We’re now challenging you to add your own beautifully crafted print designs to the Ted Baker textile portfolio for SS/18.
Rationale:
This was a live brief for Ted Baker, Spring and Summer collection for 2018. We were was asked to produce a range of patterns to be applied for menswear, womenswear, lifestyle products, etc. I looked Art Deco floral patterns and though the design was unique and interesting. I then found art Deco mirrors. They were very abstract, and very beautiful which Ted baker is all about. Also, I felt that mirrors are rather feminine item due to women having them in their handbag, and using them to make women feel beautiful. Both the patterns are quirky, fun and stylish.
