Brief
The Rochester Institute of Technology is an innovative, diverse, career-focused institution that provides best in class educational tools for faculty & students to communicate, complete tasks, and succeed together.

myCourses is a course and task management software used by 19,000+ students & faculty at RIT. This shared learning environment, used to track progress and fulfill course requirements, facilitates communication student-to- student, faculty-to-student, and system-to-student.

Problem
Communication is essential to success. The current design of myCourses reduces interest, engagement, and complicates one’s ability to efficiently communicate, access desired content, and utilize important features.

Solution
College is difficult, myCourses shouldn't be. My re-design of the current experience and UI of myCourses will have clearer resources, and improve communication, task management, interaction, access, and academic success.

Main Objectives
01  Enhance current UX/UI
02  Establish hierarchy for clearer resources
03  Improve communication
04  Make content more easily accessible
