Done along with the folks from Haus, the project was to provide a facebook app that would embody a contest. Participants would have an idea for how they would improve the world using the prize money, and then it would be voted upon by visitors.

Samurai Ken’s blade cut through a snarl of problems to provide a high availability back end system supporting the application. This back end tracked votes, provided analytics and features significant anti-fraud countermeasures. Additionally the back end systems served the application itself and provided for monitoring of the cluster.
