The program was designed as a series of weekly challenges that educated users on the benefits of Verizon FiOS and earned them Iron Man armor upgrades for each successful task completed. Users designed their own Iron Man armor, shared it via social media and voted on the best designs.

The Samurai touch was applied to the back end system responsible for user registration, authentication and contest tracking as well as integration with ePrize. A REST API was supplied that allowed the front end interactive developers to rapidly execute code without concern for underlying functionality.

The hosting and management of the dev, staging and production environments were also under Samurai control ensuring a high degree of performance, security, and reliability to the system, even under heavy load.
