We made the CD for the Summer 2010 tour by Elio e le Storie Tese (italian rock band). For the cover we chose one of the most common visual clichés: a picture of a handshake.
Inside the CD case are various scientific facts and figures about the number of microbes present on the objects that we handle every day: from mobile phones to shopping trolleys; from computer keyboards to sinks. The finishing touch to the CD is provided by a sticker giving the date and location of the concert, accompanied by the scientific name and image of a different bacterium each time.
