StandStill was a contemporary dance show, consist of three separate dance performances, with the term standstill to be their common element. It was asked from me to make a poster, a flyer and a promo video for the show capturing the meaning of the dance term "standstill".

What standstill represents in contemporary dance is the situation of freeze when in the same time the performer has the whole dynamic movement feeling that comes next second inside him/her. It is a snapshot of truth. 

I used a dancers snapshot of movement absence from the rehearsal and added a wild boilded sea inside her in a double exposure technique to capture the concept. The dancer is freezed and calm from the outside the very moment when inside her a wild sea of feelings and action adrenaline is boiled.
