RSA - World with a Future
Endangered animals
Looking atthis brief I had two ways to go to produce 6 stamps, I personally feltBrief B: World with a Future would be the most enjoyable to do. I created a setof six stamps (37 x 50mm) aimed at informing people to change their ways ofliving because their way of life is causing problems else where in the worldaffecting wild life and their habitats.

I created 3environment related stamps, two for each, water, ice and land. I chose to lookat three types of environments because they are all equally affected by man,the ice environment is affected by the rise of the global temperature and nowis rapidly melting the polar ice caps and destroying the homes of manyIcelandic animals. Land animals are also affected by deforestation due to manneeding to expand living areas and supplies. This is also destroying habitatsand making specific animals that cant adapt to new surroundings endangered. Seaanimals are dying from oil spills caused by importing and exporting goods. Mytwo animals used on the land environment stamps are the panda and the monkey, the two for Icelandic creatures are the polar bear and the penguin and last butnot least my last set for the sea creatures were the sea turtle and thedolphin.

The Ideabehind the stamps was that these animals’ habitats were being destroyed andpotentially making these animals endangered and I needed to inform the generalpublic about these matters at hand. My stamps at first look just like a stampof colored texture but when the user peals the stamp it leaves a shape of theanimal behind so the users now have a stamp with an animal cut out of them. This was to show people that if they don’t change their way of life thateventually these animals will die to our carelessness towards the environment.
All six stamps revealing all the animals.
Stamp Booklet
1st Class Stamp - Panda
66p Stamp - Dolphin
68p Stamp - Penguin
76p Stamp - Monkey
£1.00 Stamp - Sea Turtle
£1.10 Stamp - Polar Bear
Peel back the top layer of the stamp to reveal the missing animals.
The cut-out stamp would be placed on top of a colored background which is the exact same as the background on the stamp. This is so when the stamp is fitted into place that it would appear to look like its just a colored stamp.
