I modelled and rendered this range of baby products as part of a website refresh for our client. The existing label artwork was supplied along with samples of some products, and we modelled, textured and rendered in Modo. We optimised the supplied artwork for texturing, including our colour managed workflow, and separated channels for various effects such as attenuating subsurface scattering and bump for the screen printed graphics. Modo's morph maps are a powerful way to non-destructively crimp a tube and offer dynamic open/close states, and as always for folding cartons. The soap was a great challenge, a simple model but textured entirely with layer upon layer of Modo's procedurals. These renders are straight out of Modo, no retouching.
