Destrucción Mutua Asegurada - Book

Editorial

Destrucción Mutua Asegurada (1+1=0) by Eva Guerrero

"Mutual Assured Destruction" is a doctrine of military strategy that postulates that if two countries or opponents with equal nuclear resources where about to attack each other, those two entities would most likely annihilate each other completely.

For four years, choreographer Eva Guerrero worked on this subject and translated it to interpersonal relations. This book, together with two original plays, is the result of that work.

The book works as a replica of her personal notebooks and gathers all the initial drafts, ideas, choreographies, and dialogue excerpts that Eva worked on prior to finishing the plays.

It also includes two small booklets that act as ‘facsimile’ of the final dialogues for both plays, which evolve around the struggle between two characters named A and B.

The book is organised in two main chapters dedicated to each one of the two plays.
A change in the colour of paper emphasises this division.
