Understanding Absentmindedness

At seventy-pages long, Understanding Absentmindedness: An Exploration of Attention and Memory is an informational book that I designed, curated, and created for those of us who get lost in thought. The main text is pulled from Harvard psychology professor Daniel Schacter's book, The Seven Sins of Memory. In an effort to retain the reader's attention, I curated content from outside articles, scientific papers, research, poets, popular science writers and philosophers. Victorian etchings add a whimsical touch and information graphics help explain the different mechanisms behind memory and what happens when we have a memory slip in a moment of absentmindedness.
