Okay, back to how this series turned out:
The eight artworks created for OPD in San Francisco speak of community and prosperity. Sewn and painted fabrics were the creative means to produce a visual narrative that is cheerful, playful, welcoming, sincere, and elegant.
“The House of Smiles” is the heart of the narrative, the home of nurturing hands that help create transformations which lead to healthier and happier lives. It’s the place within the neighborhood, within the city, creating prosperity for and with its patients. Smile bubbles float about spreading joy. These beautiful smiles show glimpses of those undergoing orthodontic treatment or those having finished.
