COMMUNICATE WELL TO DESIGN WELL

The article titled “Communicate Well to Design Well” is about teamwork for effective business communication. This context applies in the design industry, whereby a good business relationship between the designer and the client is crucial in order to have a better chance at achieving great results. The visual idea is interpreted with references inspired from the concept of pyramid-building in ancient Egypt. Our illustration is an extension of the article about business communication today. The resulting modern illustration is able to show the communication process that involves a group of people working together, and achieving great success together.

The Concept

The Great Pyramid of ancient Egypt is one of the seven wonders of the ancient world. It demonstrates a remarkable creation on earth made possible by great minds and skillful craftsmen. Thousands of people participated in building the pyramids. They were stone cutters, engineers, artists and workers who had contributed in more ways than one. How they built the pyramids still remains a mystery to many of us in this digital era, but their teamwork is exemplary and relatable in today’s times. The centuries-old Egyptian graphics on the wall inspired us to re-create a modern illustration depicting scenes of people doing business, delivering goods, and transporting valuables to name a few.
