Plant Finder - Kiosk

Plantfinder Touchscreen Kiosk
Homebase asked us to create a customer-friendly version of their  current plant manual, which until now has been the focal point for those tricky questions posed by us wannabe horticulturalists!
...and 383 plants later, we had Plantfinder! Ok, there was abit more to it than that. But we have learnt quite alot about plants since starting this project for Homebase.  All the branding was created to fit in with Homebase's 'then' Get into Gardening style, but the actual page design, interface and experience was us. It enables the user to access any information store colleagues have at their fingertips, increasing customer flow through the store, empowering staff who would otherwise be left floundering with a well thumbed, heavy, and perhaps soggy book!
Aylesford in Kent was completely renovated after a fire, The touchscreen is located in the newly built, Garden & Advice structure in the garden centre.
The touchscreen application itself is Silverlight, it has a printed ticket function so the customer can take home it's specific requirements, or ask a store colleague it's location.
