MANNEQUIN SCENE, 3DS MAX

MANNEQUIN SCENE, 3DS MAX
A scene created to present the onject mannequin
This is my scene assignment from my Bachelor year at London Metropolitan University, studying Interior Design and Technology. The brief was to create and deisgn a scene to place the object we made earlier within. My object is a wired mannequin (see the last pictures). The mannequin is a bit old fashioned with an elegant expression, made out of wires. The object is mulit - functional; it can be both a decore element, a lamp and a mannequin.
Since the object can be used both for commersial use and as a piece of furniture in a home, I decided to make the scene a livingroom while it will be displayed in a commercial setting later on, in my major project. Then it
will be placed in a up scale bridal store. The livingroom has a bright, harmonial feel, and the furnitures will
have a scandinavian design, and it will all be modern in contrast to the object, to create a positice contrast.

The scene is made using 3Ds Max as a working modelling tool. I also made a booklet representing the process in making this scene, but the booklet is not a part of this display.
Below are some excerpts from the booklet I made together with the scene, showing my concept, ideas, sketched and process, and more. The excerpts are choosen to show my initial ideas and ground work.
