(TxT) Talking Sex Together

Client: Iowa Department of Human Services
Role: Art Director

An early adopter to the power of mobile marketing, the Talking Sex Together Campaign was developed to help prevent teenage pregnancies using text messaging, social networks, and online channels. The logo was created with youth culture and social media in mind and incorporates a hidden emoticon.
Once downloaded from the campaign's Web site, www.teenstxt.com, the materials could be printed out as needed by the participating school ororganization.

The poster encouraged teens to participate in theWeb site's text message contest and was intended to stand out when posted in schools.
Quick cards were created to spread awareness of the campaign and drive traffic to the Web site.
The Parent Handout was developed to educate parents about the the (TxT)campaign, as well as their role in preventing teenage pregnancy.
The website was based on the print campaign materials I developed, and was home to the text message contest portion of the program. It also allowed educators to download all of the toolkit materials for use in their schools.
The desktop wallpaper was designed for use in participating schools and to coordinate with the campaign materials.
