Nature Deficit Disorder: Parents' Awareness Brochure

Nature deficit disorder refers to the phrase coined by Richard Louv in his 2005 book Last Child in the Woods, by which he meant that human beings, especially children, are spending less time outdoors, resulting in a wide range of behavioral problems. Due to the lack of awareness towards Nature Deficit Disorder among parents, and the fact that nowadays it is considered an increasing habit, of preferring to keep children indoors, rather than letting them spend more time outdoors, I decided to create an awareness brochure towards NDD. The brochure is aimed for parents, providing them with suitable information about the nature of the disorder, its effects and how to prevent it. At the end of the brochure, there are two pages that contain the steps to the Kids Nature Scavenger Hunt game, also designed earlier by me, so that the parents could easily explain these steps to their children, and even cooperate with them.
