A project I've been assigned to work on, was the lack of awareness problem of Nature Deficit Disorder, which is a word that describes our lack of relationship with the environment. The problem mostly affects children from the age of 3 to 12 years old, and finding a method by which children could connect more with nature in an interesting and engaging way was my challenge. The Nature Scavenger hunt game is well known around the world, but not in the Arab world and the Middle East, so I started working on desgining a nature hunt game, using the Arabic language, that's main aim is to encourage the child to go outside and explore the nature around him using the three senses of; smelling, hearing and touching.

Designed as a sack for the child to keep his findings.

This bag was created using silk fabric, and hand dyed using the Eco-dyeing technique, which is dyeing using natural flowers and plants.
The aim was to give the feeling of connecting with nature to the child through the idea of the bag being colored from true flowers instead of artificial paint.
