Bixi
A Microsite
BRIEF:
Develop a microsite for Bixi that is unique to the company promoting its convenience.


IDEA:
The microsite will leverage something that is true to the Bixi brand; it is Toronto’s only bicycle sharing company. It is a company that riders to share the very same product, throughout the city.

Sharing is the act of the individual sacrificing something to make someone else’s life easier and convenience is when individual’s life is made easier. After I made that connection I was able to develop a concept be around that.

Introducing Zombixi, a microsite that invites users to play and sacrifice their time allowing for Bixi can reach out further and share with those in need.

GOAL:
Zombixi is a game that starts the week before Halloween and ends November 1st. Individuals are invited to play this game and sacrifice their time for the betterment of others. Individuals are thrown into a world that is being ravaged by the undead. Your goal is to get from point A to point B, without dying and before your time runs out (because Bixi has a free ride time limit as well).
Players are first introduced to the introduction screen which then bleeds into the about page, giving them information on the Bixi mission.
Players can navigate their cycle through the use of arrow keys or by simply installing a driver, they have the option use their webcam to track their body motion.
After completing each level, players are rewarded with a bicycle part. The goal is to collect all of them to complete the bicycle. Fro every completed bicycle Bixi will then donate it to someone in need.
Unfortunately for those who were unable to survive the zombie apocalypse, they will be greeted by this end screen.
