In January 2015, it hosted the 5K Walk for Cody Misch, which benefitted the son of Los Angeles County Deputy Sheriff David Misch. Cody Misch received a kidney transplant when he was 2 years old, and Cops 4 Causes attempted to raise $10,000 to pay for medical costs related to the operation and ongoing care of the little boy.
