Batman’s overall look has evolved over the decades in the different universes of comic books, TV shows, movies and video games. A selection of 20 of the most iconic, popular and oddest incarnations of the caped crusader to create this series of fully detailed 3D sculptures in Zbrush by Hugo A. Sanchez. In order to bring these amazing sculptures to the web, tools like Adobe Edge Animate and jQuery reel360v1 were used to present the frame by frame animation on an HTML5 frame, creating an interactive experience.
This project was a winner of an Excelence Award for Combination Print & Digital at the SND36.
