Off with their heads!
Music and Revolution is a festival dedicated to music and revolutions. It happens every year in the month of April during the commemoration of the Carnation Revolution of 1974.
In 2012, the festival had as its main theme the French Revolutions, both social and musical.
Our approach to the topic focused on an icon of the French Revolution: the guillotine. The guillotine as a symbol of breaking with the past either stylistically or politically. The rope as a key element in the operation of a guillotine was used to create a unique typography for this job. Nobody was hurt during the process.
