My main lead in my practice is architecture photography: I begin my photography education with the aim of becoming successful architecture photographer. Besides my general education in art and photography, I also followed architecture history and theory. However during this period I have not have the chance of seeing any of building which is designed by a star architect. At First Sight is one of my personal projects that I have started when I was in my exchange period at Willem de Kooning Academy. When I have arrived to Europe, in Rotterdam, I started chasing star architects and their fabulous buildings.

The goal of the project is documenting the buildings when I saw them very first time without not looking for any other angle: with wonder of a kid. In my exchange period I have visited Cologne, Maastricht, Berlin and Hamburg. This series is the representation of my enthusiasm from my first city trips.

In 2017 this project was selected for a collective exhibition “Base” in Istanbul. 6 photos of At First Sight series was exhibited between 21-24 of December, 2017 and two pieces was sold to be part of different collections.
