In August 2015 i took a flight to Lisbon to visit Gonçalo, a friend of mine who did his Erasmus in our university in Trier for about two years ago. After a few talks with a friend from my hometown, who already walked the camino portuguêse twice, I've decided to take this chance to walk from Porto to Finisterre in Galicia, after spending two weeks in Lisbon. A lot of people got special reasons to walk the camino: Some are doing it for religious reasons, some are just running away from something. When I started my trip I wasn't sure about what my intention was for wandering 350 km on this pilgrim path. I think I was driven by wanderlust and escaping from the daily routine. Now back home I would say it was about finding myself and finding a way of Life that fits in to my imagination how I want to spent the rest of it.
