Masters thesis final project work
Masters thesis final project work
Final project work at Jönköping University completed May 2012 in collaboration with Haglöfs Scandinavia AB.
Design brief
For my final project work, I wanted to collaborate with a well respected Swedish brand, in a project that would be heavily user-focused. After the research phase, my aim was to design a minimalistic carrier that would provide good support for the infant, and also be convenient for everyday use.
Design approach
• variety of design methods employed including ethnographic studies, user interviews, roleplay as the customer, market analysis, secondary research on areas such as infant development and ergonomics
• iterative design approach, using new information to spark new ideas which are prototyped and tested
