Redesign Stockholm's public transportation website SL

Brief
My experience with using sl.se was quite trying, specially when I first arrived to Sweden. This was surprising, given that Stockholm is a world class tourist destination. (And even though I do speak Swedish now, I still think there's room for improvement with their website.) My aim with this project was to improve the graphical user interface, focusing on new and occasional users of the webpage.

Target users
There are several user groups of SL.se, which include but are not limited to:
- Stockholm residents who only use the journey planner and those who like to explore the website
- Swedish and non-Swedish speakers
- English and non-English speakers
- residents who commute on a regular basis and visitors to the city

For the scope of this project, I focused on new and occasional users (such as tourists and short term residents) who speak English but not Swedish.
Redesign of landing page (in English)
I changed the architecture of the site, with the aim to make the pages less ambiguous and easier to navigate.

Redesign of ticket information page
I restructured the fare tables in order to make it easier to understand and compare the different options. On SL's current website it is not easy to compare the prices side by side, and there are a lot exceptions, indicated by asterisks, requiring you to read all the text on the page before fully understanding the cheapest option for your particular case or planned travel. While doing this, I actually realized that I could have been travelling much cheaper in Stockholm than I have been during all my previous travels!
