I was introduced to "FASHION ILLUSTRATION' while attending Pasadena Art Center's Saturday Morning program for high school.  We drew from live models and during one session the instructor gave us a lesson on how to draw on a fashion scale.  I was pretty good at it and it helped shape my career and education decisions and led me to FIDM where I received an extensive amount of training resulting in a career in the garment industry..

Rueben Cole is a fictional design house that I use to create a frame work for this series of illustrations.  It works well to keep the clothing and the history in tact.  The clothes and the models do have a slight modern edge in styling, however they still maintain a vintage feel.

Prints should be available Spring/ Summer 2012.
